Marine & Sea Cadets from St Albans Sea Cadets (TS
St Albans) proved themselves to be the best naval shots in Hertfordshire
last Sunday at the Herts District Sea Cadets 22 shooting competition.
13 teams from across Hertfordshire were entered into the District shooting
competition held at St Albans (14th December) as part of the
regular inter unit competitions.
The St Albans A team (Cpl Wales, Marine Cadets Buck & Lansdown) took first
prize with the St Albans B team ( LC Smart, Cadets Newman & Jueno-Chapman)
taking the second place.
The best shot from the competition was 15 year old Cadet Demi Jueno-Chapman
proving girls are just as eagled eyed as their male counterparts.
Shooting is just part of life at St Albans Sea Cadets where we have serious fun and we welcome boys and girls aged 10 to 18 who want to learn more about kayaking, shooting, windsurfing, sailing, drill, camping/survival, first aid & orienteering and much more.
We meet Tuesday & Friday evenings 7pm behind Westminster Swimming pool and we invite those interested to just turn up and say hello. We are also keen to hear from any adults who want to help out either instructing or behind the scenes in admin or in the galley.
