St Albans Sea Cadets (TS St Albans) has warmly welcomed the arrival of Commander Adrian Pierce RN, the newly appointed Commanding Officer of HMS St Albans, the royal navy ship after which St Albans Sea Cadets take their name.
HMS St Albans, a type 23 frigate is currently finalising a re-fit at the Rosyth dockyard in Fife, Scotland and Commander Pierce joined the ships company as Commanding Officer earlier this year.
Patricia Gosling, Chair of St Albans Sea Cadets said:
“ We warmly welcome the appointment of Commander Pierce as he takes over command of HMS St Albans. We are very proud of our affiliation with the ship and look forward to a renewed and re invigorated relationships with Commander Pierce at the helm. We have been very fortunate to have a close relationship with the officers and crew of HMS St Albans in the past and have even had cadets sailing on board the ship as part of the Trafalgar celebrations. We look forward to an even closer working relationship and great future “

Life at St Albans Sea Cadets is serious fun and we welcome boys and girls aged 10 to 18 who want to learn more about kayaking, shooting, windsurfing, sailing, drill, camping/survival, first aid & orienteering and much more.
We meet Tuesday & Friday evenings 7pm behind Westminster Swimming pool and we invite those interested to just turn up and say hello.
