Cadets from St Albans joined with other units from across
Hertfordshire to commemorate the Battle of Trafalgar (21st October) in
which the British fleet beat the combined French & Spanish fleet and
in which Admiral Lord Nelson was killed on HMS Victory.
The battle of Trafalgar is seen as a turning point in the fight against
Napoleon and is commemorated annually by the
Royal Navy & Sea Cadets.
Parading through Stevenage on Sunday 18th October, St Albans cadets were part of the elite Honour Guard.
